2011 was a very busy year where I did 2 solo exhibitions in Europe. Although I enjoyed it very much, sometimes I felt a bit bored working by myself... 2012 will see me doing a few group exhibitions in

Asia, hopefully I can meet some interesting Asian people and artists :)

The 7th Asia Top Gallery Hotel Art Fair will be my first group exhibition in 2012. It is not a normal art exhibition in a gallery with cold white walls, the art fair is held under the auspices of the Asia Art Net and will take place at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. I went to the hotel once many years ago for a nice buffet dinner.... I hope the art fair will also be nice...hahaha!

The fair will be on from 24 to 26 Feb so don't miss it if you are around. More than 60 galleries from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and other Asian countries are involved and there are many many artists, boys and girls presenting more than 3,000 works. I will display 4 of my sculptures which have never been shown in Asia before. By the way, go back the point of "buffet", I really recommend you do it either before visiting the show or after, yummy oysters... haha.... Hong kong people like buffets!! Me too :) I will be at the fair sometimes for sure.....just sometimes. hope to see you there!

Ten years ago, I carried my Petit Lapin and started my new life in Europe, the 1st stop was Paris. It was the most wonderful time in my life... the streets, the language, the people (girls > .<), the food, the smell, everything was just so nice, I was totally in love with Paris.

My subsequent visits to Paris make me love her more and more, so it is only reasonable for me to give her a petit present in the form of a graphic novel. 'Points de Chute' was born thanks for the invitation and support from the Berlin-based publisher WARUM It is a French translation of my previous publication 'When we fall' (youtube link) with a new cover and re-worked design. 'Points de Chute' has now hit the bookshops (shop1 / shop2/ shop2 ....) in France and Germany; you can also find it at the Angouleme international comics festival.

My special MERCI and kiss goes to Wandrille and Agathe Friguet - you guys have made my dream come true!

How are you guys? I think you guys must be very busy meeting new friends, sharing idea, showing off your talent and for sure having a lot of drinks in the parties, right? This is so cool, I am so envious of you guys. Unlucky me (> .<)!!! I have to leave my Lapin in Sofia and come back to London first, as I have to move on with my next project. I wish I could stay longer, at least a year!? haha...then I can visit all the shows and talk to everyone! I am sure I will come back for the Sofia Design Week next year!(@.@)

Thanks to the invitation of Sofia Design Week 2011 and the Museum Gallery of Modern Art, Petit Lapin and I finally have a chance to visit this dynamic Eastern European city. I am looking forward to meeting you guys in Sofia. In this exhibition, I will show selected sculptures of Petit Lapin and friend(s). We have nice wine and lovely songs (may be I will sing...haha!) for the opening night. I would like to see you and your lovely friend(s) there!

After the opening party, We planned to move to another event, the Pecha Kucha Sofia: ИСТОРИИ ЗА ПЪТЯ.

I will be one of the guest speakers who come from design, architecture, photography, art and creative fields. "the event consist of around a dozen presentations, each presenter having 20 slides, each shown for 20 seconds. Each presenter has just 6 minutes 40 seconds to explain their ideas before the next presenter takes the stage....." from wikipedia @.@. I am not sure what I will present, may be I will dance or show my Kung Fu skill on stage only. but at least you can meet other interesting artists and designers from different countries there. for sure.... they have a lot of beers as well.

yesterday afternoon, i met a friend who is artist on the street, we chat and he asked me "where is your studio mr clement?". i said "i don't have studio, i have a factory, called Lapin Factory", very cool, isn't it?....he doesn't know the factory actually located in my bedroom.....: (5 days leave to sofia design week.....still working on the painting. tired, happy and missing my mother and brother.

6 days leave to Sofia.... i finally decided to do 4 more painting for my show. these are about "space" and "another space". how i can explain it correctly? sorry i can't so i do painting. i am a bit sick and tired recently....but i will be good soon, i am leaving!!! yeah!!

just moved in new space even haven't unpacked my boxes....but i am going to move out again next month. come and go, come and go....this is a long non-stop lonely journey, i am astrolapin.hahaha!!

This is the story of the long, long journey of petit lapin and me. We forget when the trip started but we have travelled to many cities, Paris, London, Stockholm, Kyoto, Prague.... we saw the biggest ice mountain in the world, we tasted the most lovely red wine and baguette, we slept with beautiful and talented people, we got lost in the middle of those cities, we bid farewell to all of the our closest friends.... this is a lonely and lovely trip and this is the lapin world tour.

Let us keep moving on and the next stop will be Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

mr clement on Portuguese Freedom Day!!!

I will have a group show with 14 london-based artists in Acquire arts gallery to celebrate the Portuguese Freedom Day!!! The initial idea of my new work is to make something with a lot a lot of blood! though the details haven't yet been confirmed. Hope to see you at the opening, 28 April 2011, 6-8pm....Let's enjoy art and beer!
